Who are we?
We are the Forensics/Speech and Debate Team at St. Thomas Aquinas High School in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, a school of the Archdiocese of Miami.
With the roots of our organization dating back at least five decades, STA students have been actively preparing and competing in tournaments in the areas of speech and debate, touching on numerous topics and resolutions.
In February, 1989, we proudly established our charter as an official team through the National Forensic League, now the National Speech & Debate Association. This enabled us to begin competing on the National Circuit, to which we have had immense success and created an infinite amount of memories and experiences for our Forensic Raiders.
